The goal of the UniFraktur project is to provide free resources for blackletter font developers to add smart features to their fonts. The project focuses on covering a wide range of smart font technologies. Since there is no single standard for these technologies, compatibility improves when a font includes various technologies. Currently, UniFraktur supports OpenType, Apple Advanced Typography (AAT), and Graphite.
