Sinistre combines Uncial minuscule, Roman proportions, and subtle hints of Fraktur into soft letterforms with sharp terminations. Aiming to revive the Insular Script of the Book of Kells, it draws inspiration from Gaelic stone carvings, Celtic calligraphy, and Elzevir types.
